The Three Sons of Cwendor--Cover Art

A teaser for the story I'm writing for Laura's birthday. Which, by the way, is almost done.
The working title is 'The Three Sons of Cwendor'.

  1. That is beautiful my dear Jhaniel! I am quite jealous of your talents. Did you know that the vine-like part in the upper left corner is something I've always loved in art work? And the Faerie Queen is amazing! Now I'm even more eagerly awaiting my present! Perhaps I should use that energy to finish your story.
Honestly, next time I can get the car started, your package will be off. Perhaps this time, I should send your birthday present with it. :) I know you can always use that one...
Lovely work, as always, my Lady Fae!

  2. Yeah, it is pretty good.I find the little quadrants with different colors to be the coolest part, I also think the cleverly disguised heart next to the children is pretty neat.
*sighs* Tomorrow I go back to school...but I guess it is not all bad. I get to rig my room with some cool thingamajigs and a few whatchamacallems from christmas, not to mention I get to see you and all my other friends! :)
    до свидания!(practice lol)
P.S. Where do you guys get the fancy nick names???

  3. Nikolai: What do you mean about fancy nicknames? And I'm so glad you pointed out the heart: I hadn't quite noticed it before!
And maybe it's my personality, but I love the little castle and stars in the background on the right. :) And the tree right below that.

  4. I'm glad you pointed out the heart too--I hadn't noticed either! *embarrassed*

    Shouldn't have said that!

  5. Oh, and Nikolai, we get our nicknames from our long writing careers. Like I got Jhaniel by feminizing a name of a character in my book, Jhanien . . .

And then I got Mythopoeia from the title of Tolkien's wonderful poem.

  6. right, now almost all my questions have been answered, but there is still one more name that must be clarified. Where is the lady fae one from? Im assuming it is from another story that I have not read, but I could be wrong.

P.S the verification sounds alot like putin, the russian leader.
Oh and my dad taught me how to tie a tie! I am sooo excited!!! I got pretty good at it too. :) (should people get excited over learning to tie ties?)

  7. Lady Fae? Um . . . Well, Fae is another term for a Faery, and Lady sounds nice and royal. So it's just an honorific term :)

Probably used in olden fantasy, but I can't for the life of me think where . . .

And you'll have to teach me how to tie a tie now!
